My Buddy owned a 99 Z28 modded with springs, sway bars, shocks and adjustable Pan-Hard Bar and various bolt on power mods...... funny how when we both went to Button Willow big track i was a clean 4.2 seconds faster per lap then he was.....

haha, that camaro has 100+ more horsepower than you and also had suspension, so he should've smoked you in the straits and been close behind in the corners. I'm guessing your buddy didn't learn to drive very well.

Ohh trust me, he Pulled HARD on me in the straight. The only way i was able to beat him was in the corners and Because of late braking.

stock for stock they're not that far apart? a stock ls1 should run a mid 13 and a stock cobra should run about the same maybe a little higher.

One thing that really bugs me about camaros are the dashes that are a mile long and then the hood that is even longer. Has any one else noticed that?

Ok...you're officially out of your mind. The 99 cobra was the biggest pile of shit ford has put out. Do you not remember that they RECALLED ALL OF THEM b/c they couldn't put down the power they were claimed to have made? Have you ever driven an F-Body? We're not talking chases your tail through cones in the parking lot of the mall lame ass auto-x...

I guess we are just talking about Going straight Right? In that case why even have a steering wheel? :dunno:

Again, since the last time the issue came up, you never responded. If the F-body suspension is so awful, why do your idols MM copy it for the Mustang?

The interior is atrocious, the engine being half hidden even though the hood is like 9 feet long a TINY rear end for such a good engine. I like the outside of the TAs and the Camaros though. I have no hate on the Ls1 at all. If I had to choose between a 02 SS and a 03 cobra though... well id still take the Cobra every time.

I personally think the hatred really goes back to the mustang/camaro feud. I like both personally. Fast is fast.
