Finally, I have everything to start my Kenne bell S/C install in the next couple of weeks.

I have a question to those who have put KB?s on their 96-98 cobras.
Is there anything I need to know before I start? Any pitfalls to avoid? Anything the manual leaves out or doesn?t explain well?
Just wondering how installs went for others before I start.

i hear that it is relatively easy, are you putting on the KB 2.1

I wish i had a 2.1, I have a used 1.5l setup. down the road when I have a few more $$$ I may swap in a 2.1

Did it come with everything when you got it. Also the 1.5 kb is still a good one and it has been out for a long time and i've seen videos of them and they still make for a mean street car.

It came with all the major stuff: chip, manifold, Super charger unit, Belt and 3 pullies 6,8,12 psi. also FMU.
I had to buy a used boost a pump and called Kenne bell for the few items that were missing. It was a lot cheaper than buying new one.

Sure,

I will post some pics after I put it on. Will be a couple more weeks before I am able to get to it. Plan on running 8 psi for now.
Not so sure stock bottom end will handle the 12 psi pulley (plus I do not have intercooler or meth injection).
