Now that I'm a few days away from installing all the suspension parts I've collected I want some opinions on the most comfortable ride you can get with a specific set of lowering springs. Its my daily driver and that's it.
I went through the picture thread of lowered cars and man there are alot of beautifully set up SN's- I'm getting excited about doing the job and getting behind the wheel!

Make sure the pig tails on the rear springs both point towards the drivers side, also the pig tail on the front springs are supposed to cover the first hole in the control arm but not the second. Are you doing struts as well?

Yes I am. Thank you for the advice. I've never done the work before. My brother n law is helping me out. He works as a mechanic.
I got KYB struts and shocks (Fox body) a set of MM CC Plates, the X2 ball joints, bumpsteer, and right now a set of FRPP "B" Springs.
I appreciate the help.

Wow dude, sounds like a good setup. Excited to see the pics. Install shouldn't be to hard as my and my brother did mine in a horribly cramped garage. I think he's a hoarder..

I have no experience with suspension work or replacement ball joints but in the back of my mind, I wonder if premature failures with the X2 balljoints have to do with them being used without bumpsteer kits or some other component that puts them under undue stress structurally. Improper installation and incorrect alignment is hard to account for when people claim poor craftsmanship. Maximum Motorsports caster camber plates instructions mention the importance of proper spacing when raising the rack, using aluminum offset bushings, and tie rod adjustments w/bumpsteer kits.
I'm going to have them put on, the car is only used as a daily driver, I will have at least four sets of eyes check things out so I'm very optimistic. I will let everyone know how things turn out along the way.

x2s fail because people install rack bushings and bumpsteer kits in a collective. then again i have never heard of a X2 fail. research ive read says you do not need all three. 2 of the 3 or none except CC plates.

Well a few guys on here including me have had crap luck with the x2s. And I don't have either of the two things you mentioned. When I asked Steeda about it they did not act surprised about it at all.

I am not installing the offset bushings. We'll see what happens. Like I said, I'm excited like it's Christmas, so right now I'm optimistic. My suspension is original and has way over 200K miles on it. It's just another thing to replace/upgrade and check mark off the list of things to do.
