I don't know about fuel injected cars HOWEVER...there comes a point when a chambered muffler IS a hinderence to the production of power and a flow-through muffler will net substantial gains. Just recently witness the removal of a spintech pro street muffler switched to a flow through magnaflow race muffler....over 20hp was picked up.
:TY: My friend is basically a parrot. if repeats whatever he hears and i usually set him straight. i remember reading an article in 5.0 mustang a few years ago, a muffler shootout on a mildly modded car. they tested everything from borla xr1 to super turbos. the realization reached afterwards was that all of them tested were within a +5/-5 hp tolerance to each other, same for torque. muffler choice seemed more for exhaust note than power level

Flowmasters suck... they're way to baffled, they have no flow capability what so ever... I saw a show on Speed vision where they put different mufflers on a flow bench... i'll never put a set of Flowmasters on any of my cars ever... now, the Pypes violator, thats a different story :dancing6:

(Not that, that really had anything to do with the actual post, it just got me thinking...)

EXACTLY!

There ARE MANY exceptions but for your avg bolt on street daily driven mustang, this holds 100% true

no i dont think it was the horn, that sounds just like the problem i had last year. it ended up being my self lubricating gauge fluid sensor. its a pretty messy job but you can do it in a few hours.

try rotating the air in your tires. if that doesn't help, try kicking the flux capacitor. still no luck, well you could always retorque those new runflat wiper blades :thumb:

yeah those runflat wiper blades are nice. they are expensive though. but they definitely do an awesome job. i like how they have mini blowers built in to dry your windshield while they wipe the water off.
