I don't see the point in making clones of a vehicle that is easy to get. For the cost to take a GT and convert it into a perfect clone with the only thing different is the VIN number, you could easily just buy a Cobra.

I mean like a Saleen, or Roush clone. One of the guys in my club has a 96 GT thats he's turned into a Saleen Cobra clone (dead sexy car). Its cloned from a 1 of 2 car I believe. The S20 maybe? Dont remember exactly.

I don't get too hung up on what the factory put out.
there's so many good and better aftermarket parts avaliable. I go for tastefully custom.
Take a Saleen for example. it's a GT with pretty body & paint, and nice wheels. maybe a blower if they sprung for that upgrade.

and Paul, what is a 2JXDJG motor?

Its been done in a fox....and yes its nasty.

I'm already puttign a chevy motor in my GT....and then I'm going to put a Cobra Badge on it...Just for all the haters.

LQ4 means lower compression...spray to compensate....and surpass....alot

I'm undecided on the fender badges.....right now I have the ones from the now defunct Boss Inc. that say "Five-0" and on the trunk its "6.0L" from an H2. The fender badges will change though but not "SS"
