yea...

It really is not that bad. I dove right into mine with little to no experience. The TB and Plenum are cake...

Start by just taking that stuff off then you will have a pretty good view of the intake manifold. There are several good write-ups on this. I would say the main concern would be to make sure you don't drop anything down the cylinder ports when you take the intake manifold off. As long as you have a good selection of tools..mainly a decent metric socket set you should be fine.

Mike, thanks. I understand that its an easy swap but id would really feel more comfortable with some who has experience doing them just incase shit hits the fan. Id be willing to pay so if anyone feels up to it it would be appreciated.

So, are you installing a PI intake onto a mustang that is originally a non-PI setup?

If you click on my link below, there is my replacement of my non-PI with another non-PI. It may give you some useful info BUT it is not for a non-PI to PI swap. The ports are different shapes between a non-PI and PI, so you have to take that into account.

I did mine myself with no prior experience with such things. I used the Ford Mustang service manual. It has great instructions and diagrams. Just be sure you have the right parts before starting (gaskets, bolts, etc).

Hey man,

I am 19 and live in Middletown, De..

You should check out midatlanticstangs.org

We are a Stang club and will be going to shows and meets next year in this area.

The TB, plenum are cake but the Pi intake is a little more involved.

I did the tb, plenum my self...but I decided i would pay a pro to do the intake..rather pay a little then mess up my engine.
