looking to get some bodywork done

well i figured since alot of you have painted aftermarket hoods i'd ask. how much would it cost to get a hood painted to match? i just want a rough estimate of how much i should pay. i was guessing 300-500, but its a total guess. its too late to drop by a bodyshop tonight so i figured i'd ask some of you who have had it done.

300-500 is a good estimate. it does depend on the price of your paint and how much body work needs to be done to the hood, but it should stay within that price

is the hood on or off the car when you're gonna get it painted?

it will be off or on whatever they would like. more than likely i would mount it up to check out the fit myself, and if it was ok then i would take it to them. its a pin on hood that im looking at. i just wanted a rough guess about how much this hood would cost all said and done.
