Anyone using this puppy? I had an epiphany and have decided to set the 96 up more for Road Racing, and am looking for a 'kit' that is a one hit deal. this seems like a good all around package, and later on i can look at upgrading to the Torque Arm and tubular k/coilovers.

Thoughts?

I say YES!!. That's close to what I have, but mine fits into the customized part of the description (after talking to them on the phone). Mine isn't on the road yet, because I still have more to do, but I'm banking on it handling like a supercar, lol. (I HOPE)

ahhh i see what your saying `bout the customization. cool that might knock the price down since i have springs and their lower control arms already. lemme know what you think when it hits the road man!

It's a good starting kit, but the springs seem a bit soft. Call them and see if you can switch their MM Street springs to H&R Race springs.

its a great setup for street and with a spring change it'd be a great track setup if you aren't gonna do coilovers.

Front coilovers and a tubular k will definately go in, but i just wont be doing it all at one time. Otherwise i`d jump on the max grip package

When I talked to MM they told me that the spring rates on their springs are incredibly close to the H&R Race Springs, so I would call them and talk spring rates a minute before you bump up the price, unless that doesn't matter to you.

Good to know. I thought that since they were called street performance springs the would be somewhere along the H&R Sport spring rate.

"The Maximum Motorsports springs will lower your Mustang about 1.25-1.5
inches depending on how much fuel is in the tank. The front springs are
rated at 750-850 lbs/in and the rear springs are rated at 260-280 lbs/in."

That's directly from MM regarding their street performance springs

Yup those figures are very close to the H&R race springs.... And I love mine. Very smooth and firm. It feels like a german sports sedan now.

Actually, minus the drop difference, those are the exact H&R Race spring rates.
