Figured it was easier to take a video then try and explain what its doing. Ive tried 2 different MAFs, 1 prom 19lb and 1 stock sn95 maf, same outcome with both.
mods are
trickflow manifolds
gt40p
e303 cam
EGR/smog removed
Pro-m Maf housing
Mail order tune
New cap/rotor/PIP/plugs/wires
Set TPS/idle

Any input?

Please excuse the quality, Cell phone + photobucket = not the greatest. And im an idiot and cant figure out to to embed videos.

Have you cleaned it and then taken off the negative batt cable to let it reset everything.

If you ran a Filter that required oil it can gum up the MAF. Do you have the stock MAF with Stock 19lb ?

I have the exact same problem, mine idles great with the maf disconnected. Once i reconnect it the car starts idling like it has a cam and eventually dies.

Barely, it will make it down the road. But it will buck, spit, sputter, backfire.

1) Why did you remove the EGR and SMOG?

2) What did you set your TPS at?

3) You could just very well need a tune.

win means tune other than your mail ordered one. as in something in that tune may not be right for your car.

1) PO took it out when he/we installed the HCI

2) the TPS is set at .96 (the closest i could get without elongating the holes, the sensor is ~8 months old, autozone replacement.

3) The car has been running fine for the last 8 months (when he/we did the HCI) aside from the ilde surging every now and then (we forgot to mention the EGR/Smog removal when ordering the tune, just havent gotten around to sending it back to have it retuned) then it started to miss under acceleration about 2 months ago, ran codes and got EGR fault codes (31 & 32 KOER) and a PIP code (14 KOER). replaced the PIP/cap/plugs/wires 2 weeks ago to no avail. ran codes again and all i got were 31 & 32 again.
