the ls1 engine is great...but I just hate the car...i hate how it looks/ the interior is crap/ feels like crap...I drove one and just hated how it felt...felt like a cat fish tank mobile or something

all depends on the driver and the traction. The 2001 Corvette LS1 is a 5.7 Liter 348 CID rated at 350 HP and 350 FT LBS of TQ which is probably under rated as much car HP/TQ Ratings are so overall it was a very very close match to my 5.8 351W with 350 RWHP and 390 TQ

why does everybody hate the hondas? maybe its just the area but i have been beat by sevral civics, i sold an Acura RSX typeS to buy my SN, i loved that car and miss it so much. Same engine as the new SI civic and i beat lots of NPI stangs. Around here what bothers me is the VW every other kid has a golf or a jetta or an A4 that they think is the fastest and best handling car ever made and any car not from Germany is useless

ricers ruined the whole honda thing for you guys.

i hate audis more than any car manufacter, my friend has one. its an A4 it handles well with koni adjustable suspension but i could beat it with my 97 grand prix and they break all the time. Also way over priced and people around here think there is nothing better in the world than an RS4, and a mustang could never be as fast as one. Also those things break more than any other car ever and the dealerships are con artists. Only euro cars i would ever consider is Volvo and Porcshe :thumb:

not currently...but i should be this summer.

Audis and Vw's are nice cars...they do get engine lights a lot..

they handle nice...but not well...they oversteer like anything if you push them.

rs4s are like high 12 second cars...a blown stang should beat one.

the older 2.7t s4's can be made pretty damn fast

Great vid :thumb: Thats pretty much the outcome of most of the imports( civic's,integra's) Ive raced at the track the past few years. They are not really a challenge, I just use it as an opportunity to remind them where they are in the food chain.

Some imports are fast I'll give them that, but the majority of hondas you run into are slow eco box turds. Go ahead and boost that less then 2.0 liter motor I have more then enough to still wax the hell out of you in the 1/4 mile. We as a Mustang community should not be setting our goals at beating honda's, there are much bigger fish to fry such as Camaro's, GTO's, Corvette's.

Did you guy's know that a single 3.5" pipe has more volume than two 2.5" pipes?

Not that it matters but:
(1) 3.5" has a total area of 9.616 sq.in. inside of the pipe.
(2) 2.5" has a total area of 9.813 sq.in. inside of the pipes.
