Mint black 96-98 tail lights

Hey guys what would you guys pay for a mint pair of 96-98 tail lights. I brought some red lights for my car and just plastic dipped them black. Someone on my local forum has a mint pair already painted black. Im trying to figure out if it would be cheaper to buy a mint pair instead of having mine painted.

What do you guys think and how much would you pay??

My light aren't mint at all .Need some sanding done and paint.

Also how much does it cost to get the light bezels pained black? i wouldn't suspect it cost that much since there simple pieces you remove yourself.

The bezels on these un screw so there really easy and cheap to paint

Any ideas what is a good offer for a mint painted pair though? I only paid $45 for the junkyard ones.

Probably be cheaper to get the ones you have painted with good paint.

No one will really be able to answer that. Just go to a Shop and get a free quote. Or find anyone who paints at home like me.

He wants me to make a offer. I have no idea what to ask for tail lights? Which is why i wanted a fair price from you guys. Truly have no idea.

i paid $100 for mine back in the day but I'm pretty sure you can find them cheaper. If he's not going to give you a price then low ball him at $50 and let him counter offer. Anything around 75 is probably pretty fair?

i found a set on the CL a couple days ago that looked decent for $40.
