MSD 6AL Mounting Locations

Hey all, just purchased a 6al and trying to figure out where everyone has theres mounted. i got this for a good deal at schucks cause someone ordered this and didnt bother to pay for it so i got it hella cheap. Im thinking of mounting mine right beside my BBK cai on the fenderwell but i want to get some other ideas before i make before i make my final shit

where is your battery located still in the stock location?? the most popular i have seen is on the firewall beside the master cylinder and all that looks pretty nice ....but heats a factor and will destroy your box faster....really anywhere under the hood will....people put them in the glove box in the trunk behind the dash i saw one the other day behind the grill he had 2 boxes....if you looked in the opening where the horse is you cound see 2 corners of msd boxes auctually looked good not tacky at all

get a msd catalog if you dont have one yet and flip to page 51 theres a cobra with the boxes mounted behind the snake in the grill looks sick!!

hmm, i can't picture how this would look.

i started a thread about this the other day, and i decided to go 10 guage wire and mount mine in the trunk. i wont have my harness until wednesday, but it should be done by thrudsay or friday.

i got mine in. its sitting right above my cai on the fenderwell and it looks good, ill post some pics up soon. Also my car woke the fuck up when i put this unit on, my idle problems dissapeared, other than the surge on cold start, and i noticed a power increase as well, i am happy with this unit :whip:
