muffler opinions

right now im running with magnaflow and an x pipe...car sounds like balls, sounds more like a truck..too poppy for me..im thinking of 40 series flows or slp loud mouth...what do u guys think...btw it's a 95....noise is not an issue...the louder,the better....id like a deep and aggressive sound

mac or flowmasters will give you a nice deep tone where as slp's will be loud and raspy

I just put Mac produmps on my car and they sound amazing. Loud and deep... with a helluva distinct tone.

I'd keep the Magnaflow mufflers and weld some cats on your x pipe.
I really liked my Magnaflow catback and x pipe I had on my older mustang
great quality and fitment.

I personally think spintech prostreets sound badass on 5.0, I have them and they would sound even better with an offroad pipe, real nice and throaty and has that nascar type of sound when you rip into it

For a 302, NOTHING beats an o/r H and Orig flowmaster 40 series 2 chamber mufflers.

on the 5.0. chang it up to a h pipe, but the x pipe can still sound good.
try some flowmaster single chambers. my buddy runs those on his cammed and vortech powered 306, it sounds great under full throttle.

I really liked how BBK o/r x pipe and flowmaster 40/super 44 with dumps sounded on a friends 95 cobra.... I currently have a o/r H pipe and dumped flowmaster 40 delta series...
