Figured it would be a good time to start a thread to cover the build/restoration to daily driver of my '95 GT.

A little back story. I sold my '89 Toyota 4x4 pickup to buy a mustang. I had been out of the scene for a minute and was tired of daily driving the '96 Town Car. It was a good car, but just not my style, but it served it's purpose for 3 years......

The one I actually wanted wound up sold, no big deal others will be there.... I found this jewel in Athens AL. Went to look at it, feel in love, and brought it home. I honestly paid to much for it at 4K, but it has a motor with less than 20K on it..... so I didn't do to bad... Since then there have been several pop up I should have waited on, but oh well.

95 Mustang GT
E8 - Rio Red
Black and Grey interior
17x8 Eagle alloy polished Cobra R look-a-like's
Cobra R 3" Hood
GT40P heads
GT40 SVO Motorsports intake
Lunati VooDoo Cam (unfortuantly I am unsure of which one)
BBK H-pipe
Flowmaster 40's
3.73 LS
Blah blah blah.....

I will have more pictures and more of the story on it when i get time to post them up. Here is the only one I currently have uploaded:

Car looks really good. Depending on what issues it has, 4k was a great deal.
Wasn't really that many issues.... trans went out in 2 days, found out it had a 4 cyl t5, replace it with a v8 t5... Paint on front bumper is flaking on driver side.... needed headlights.... tune up.... got it running good now though.

Yeah it wasn't that bad at 4k, but if I had of known I would have talked him down a bit.

Looks good man. I like the black top. Those rotors look a little old though.

LOL. I had just washed it and they flash rust quick.... that is one of the next projects.... don't know if I will go with cobra brakes, or just stick with drilled and slotted for now...

Looks good. As Ferocious said the rotors do look old

Yeah they do in the picture, but they don't in person. They where just painted black and cut not long ago, but they flash rust bad after I wash it for some reason. Hope to have some real camera pics this weekend, tonight is our 3rd anniversary so I am spending time with the wife.

Thoughts or opinions?

You can see in these pics what I meant about the paint not being perfect.

I'm not a huge fan of the black wheels, but I generally don't like black wheels at all though so there's that. If you're going to go with a darker, red/black theme, you should get some smoked or Black Beauty headlights. A set of those and maybe like some 18" Black Saleens would look menacing. Whenever I get my car kinda fixed back up, we will have to meet up for a photoshoot.

Couldn't agree more about the head lights and rims. +1

Absolutley man.

Yeah you either like black wheels or you don't.... I always have. I was told by my Brother in Law's whore that it made my car look like a hotwheels car... I can kinda see that.

Tinted head lights and tails (very lightly) will be added.... hopefully soon.
