dont get me wrong i like the car but ya it kinda pisses me off seeing the cobra badges on it knowing its not a cobra with a mix of saleen kick to it but hey its your car

i would understand some hate if it was just a plain v6, or i would understand some hate if i was selling it was a real cobra or saleen its not im not defrauding anyone or im like im on here saying look at my saleen cobra i always call it my faleen on the firewall badge i had engraved tribute and an off note topic can someone tell me the diffrence between a 94-95 cobrra and the 94-95 gt, a upper intake manifold gears? brakes???

Well the reason I said anything is because I faint anytime I see a real saleen cobra. Especially a 96-98 car. It's bootiful. So when I turn into a 12 year old girl and run around the parking lot because at first it seems to be real, I then notice it's not, and I die a little inside. So pretty much what I'm saying is you're trying to murder me.

o you did a clone but take the cobra badges off bc it just makes no sence i dont mind clones i had a 91 gt that i made it into a cobra clone but with the saleen body kit and sticker kit witch cobra badges kinda makes me sad

well im looking in to like a saleen logo to put there i got a guy trying to match the red for the back ground for the saleen logo cuz i have to cover the hole where the emblem goes

Cobra badges are always real touchy in the Mustang community. People don't mind Saleen or Roush clones. I have to admit I'm not a fan of the badges either.

yeah the reason the cobra badges is iffy is because there are cobra's and then there are saleen's. it's one or the other. it clutters your car and makes it confusing...I think you car will look great and way cleaner if you pull them off. as for the difference between a gt and a cobra...different heads, upper and lower intake and I believe thats it. the rear bumper on cobra's was a v6 bumper, the 3rd brake light is in the 'crab claw' spoiler on the cobra's as well so now 3rd brake light on the deck lid. so that all being said...you right now have 3 cars going on your car at once. it's your car though but i think it will look much much cleaner if you lose the cobra badges.

HUH? saleen cobra? I don't think there is one. someone correct me if I am wrong.

this is 97'#330 this is the saleen i cloned mine after they had saleen cobras 96-04

some disinformation here. 94-95 cobras had the v6 bumper with crab claw spoiler. 96-98 cobras had the cobra bumper and a "GT" spoiler on it.

there is such a thing as a saleen cobra. they had very low production numbers comparatively. they started in 96:

he asked about 94-95 and that's what I answered him on. so no disinformation. and nope never noticed there was a such thing as a saleen cobra. that being said, you still have a 5.0l and it still seems quite cluttered and confusing for our year cars especially with a clone build...seems like you've got too many ideas going on for 1 car. but like I said. to each their own.
