I want to turn my car into a good overall handling machine. I can't go over train tracks without bouncing all over the damn place and getting a headache from the suspension being so rough. It also feels very unstable at high speeds and because of that I don't take it on the highway. Now I have 0 suspension mods and its a 96 GT if that matters. Now I want to be able to take a decent corner at a decent speed and feel in control and I want it to feel stable at high speeds, obviously. I've been searching around and I'm just confusing myself. I don't know if I should buy the bullitt suspension kit or what is a better deal.

I want to go low so I want to go with the H&R SS springs. Now what would be a good set of shocks and struts to go with these? Should I get Control Arms? Sub frames?

Oh I never go to the track or do any auto x so this setup will just be for every day normal use. I'd also like to take a look at coil overs as well.

So basically I'm wanting to lower my stance, have good handling and stability. I want the H&R SS springs and the MM CC plates. Now if you guys would give me some advice as to what shocks and struts, sub frames, and control arms to match them with would be awesome.

Thanks fellas, sorry if this question has been asked to death. :TY:

From what i read you want a REALLY good street Set up

...i would recommend.....

H&R SS or Sportlines
Tokico 5 Ways
MM SFCs
MM LCAs
Eibach Sway Bars (HUGE DIFFERENCE)
...and some FRPP A-Arms if you got the extra $$$

MM front coilovers on struts of your choice
springs for the rear on MM Rear adjustable LCS's - then you can set your ride height, front and back.

make sure to check which coilover spring for the front - to match your rears - and give you the ride quality you want.

you mentioned CC plates, which you will need with coilovers.

Front a arms if your stockers are worn.

After that, some stiffer bars would help.
good place to start wihtout spending a ton of cash.

Definately call and/or check Maximum Motorsports web site for good info.

IRS has always tempted me... But once you have Built Solid with a LSD and MM Goodies you kind seem to forget all about the IRS.

if you have everything you need to do it, and a lift, about 6 hours. THe most time is dropping the gas tank to drill the holes.
