This just started today, it seems to only do it when it takes off but when I take off from a stop it will jolt very violently almost as if you let off the clutch without giving it any gas you know that feeling guys we all done it before where we forgot our car was I'm gear and let off the clutch and it jerks, okay that's what it does when I leave a light only it's just as I start moving

You used a Ford TOB and Pilot? Annnnd what brand was the clutch you ended up with. And did you drive it easy for like 500 miles?

Yes I did lol, it's not my clutch or TOB that's all fine I think it was related to my PATS system

That doesn't sound right. Violent jerking caused by the cars anti theft system?

Well maybe not pats but I know it had jerked then stalled, theft light was flashing looked under the hood and the fuel pump fuse was popped.

Probably has something to do with your fuel pump fuse blowing, jerking from lack of gas? Just a thought.

PATS only enables access to the computer during start up. After that, it has nothing to do with anything.

You can take the instrument cluster out, remove the key and lock tumbler and the car will continue to run as if nothing has changed.

I think its the "Jones Mechanism" located in the drivers seat. I think you need to recalibrate it to use the clutch properly again.

No no it's really not my driving lol I'll take off and once my foot is fully off the clutch sometimes it will jolt, but only does it when taking off
