My new 96 Cobra

Alright guys, I just traded my 97 Cobra Convert for a 96 Procharged Cobra. Just thought Id put up some quick pictures I got of the car to see what you guys think of it. Here is a list of mods done to the car. It makes 487 horsepower to the rear wheels.

Stroked 4.6 (289ci to 300ci) 3.75 stroke
Fully machined 03/04 iron block
Killians ported heads (combustion chamber and exhaust ports to match header opening
Probe SRS street kit (forged crankshaft, srs forged pistons, race pins, forged rods, cl77 bearings)
Ford Gt supercar cams
Irmc delete
Procharger D1SC supercharger with modified impeller and intercooler
MSD coil packs
MSD plug wires
BBK twin 62 mm throttle body
60 lb. injectors
sct 90 mm mass air
EGR block off plate
Custom headers and 3 inch x pipe into Flowmasters
Wideband Air/Fuel gage
Boost gauge
Fuel Pressure gauge
BBK 255 lb. fuel pump
Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator
Flaming river manual rack and pinion and steering shaft
Tubular K-member
Coil overs in front
Steel caster camber plates
Bump steer kit
Solid motor mounts
Lakewood 70/30 front struts
Lakewood 50/50 rear shocks
Rear tubular upper and lower control arms
Spec stage 3+ clutch, aluminum pressure plate and aluminum flywheel

Hey man, not sure what it runs in the quater. It only has the stock T-45 so Im a little worried to take it to the track right away, but I will because I have to know what it will run. Thanks

Yeah the interior was saddle at one point and the guy painted it all black. I am thinking of getting a GT500 wheel but for now I am going to paint this one.

Yeah I don't care for the holes that much. The front bumper is kind of ruff so in the future I am going to replace it when I get the car repainted. But for now it has to stay

hahahah thats my dads 68 Road Runner. It was his 7 year project he just finished. Its a got a well built 440 in it with a four speed. Runs really good. Ill get some pics of it and post them up for you!

Good looking cobra, and yes more pics of both the cobra and mopar would be nice. I love muscle mopars, makes me miss my Duster

Is that a manual brake setup? Is the power steering still on it?

Sounds good man, My dad acutally has two mopars. Hes got the Road Runner and a 71 Demon. Thats his new project so its not much to look at, but Ill grab some for you!!

Yes sir, Its a manual brake set up and a manual steering. It has a flaming river maual rack with the quick ratio steering shaft. It actually turns and stops pretty easy. And thanks!!

Looks SICK man...I would replace the wing with an S281 spoiler...race wings are a bit excessive for a street car...and those holes definitely need to be addressed haha

Thanks man, yeah the wing gets mixed responses to it. Some like it, some hate it. I kind of like it, just because you its different. But yeah I would like to in the future put a S281 wing on it, those are sick. And the holes are pretty bad but they do allow more air to the intercooler so that is one plus about them. But I want to replace the whole front bumper eventually so they will be gone. But thanks again for the compliments and yeah its pretty fun to drive LOL!

Looks great!! I thought those holes might be for the Procharger. I got mine back with a S281 wing, so I am very biased to them now. For the most part, that's a beast!! Can't wait to read more & see more of it!!

Yeah man I love the S281 wing. That is most likely a future upgrade. I will try and get some better pics this week with my friend hopefully. I would love to bring it to the track but Im to worried to run it because of the T-45. I dont have the money right now to fund a new trans for it. Once im out of college though, its getting an auto put in and we will see what this beast can do. Thanks for the response man!
