I beat a friends daytona edition in my stang.

Big difference there is Daytona is 5.7L 340HP, mine is 6.1L 425HP

Already picked up a tuner, CAI and catch can off a guy who just traded his SRT8 in so it will be getting a couple toys soon

Congrats, and nice upgrade. Did you ever sell the GT? I remember it was clean but priced really high for an SN95.

Yep, it got loaded on a trailer and left to it's new home

o_O have you never worked on your subaru? ? ? ? ?? ? lol.

things I'll never own:
#1) Mitsubishi
#2) Jeep
#3) Subaru

(in that order)

159k miles, never broken down, runs mid 12's, makes ~300 HP... And gets 24-25 mpg.

The DOHC engine can't be compared to the N/A sohc which are plagued with headgasket issues. I'd work on subarus all day long without a single complaint. They are so uncomplicated that its amazing.

But I also have to sit back and realize that mist of this community complains about changing plugs on a 5.0... Until you spend 15 years repairing cars on a daily basis, you haven't any room to speak. Around here the only problems we ever really see with subarus are brakes (like every car), heat shield rattles, and oil leaks.

People complaining about doing plugs on a 5.0?? WTF! Give them a few GM products (4th gen Fbody, Astro/Safari, Blazer/Jimmy to name a few) to do plugs on and they will never be the same again...

OP congrats on the Charger. Theyre not bad cars, besides the "usual" things that go wrong with them. Parts are cheap enough.
