This is going to be a long, drawn out install that will end with the building of my masterpiece, a killer looking/sounding phoenix gold stereo like I wanted when the GT was new, I was just starting installing and unfortunatly just could not afford it. I have actully spent over a year getting all the equipment together, so I am not going to rush it and mess it up.

So far I have started with the amp rack and its going pretty well. I explain most of the decisions I made but if you have further questions let me know. The hardest part of the install that I am expecting is shoe-horning the 9"mid-basses in the doors as I will have to completely redesign the lower portion to make an enclosure for them. The 5 and 1 will fit nicely in the kick panels I built for my diamond audio speakers so that will not be a huge deal to do and should go quickly. The bottom portion of the sub box is also done so hopefully I can gain some time there although I have a little crazy idea that I am going to try and pull off to add some flash to it.

Looks good man, I hope to finally properly finish my install and do a amp rack, only 5 years later, it was just tossed in quickly.

Those 9" will be tough to get in the doors. Hell I had problems getting my Focal 165K2s in the door, JUST fit because they are so damn deep I got about 1/16" clearance.

the nines are actually only 3.5" deep so they will not even be inside of the door. I am going to basically cut out the entire center section of the door below the pull cut and the making an enclosure there. It will only be a few inches deep but those speakers do not need much airspace but I can't wait to hear a full-sized midbass from up front. They will only be plaing from 45-155 hz.

I just decided to make a change in my amps. I had an old pg MQ-430 amp(MS line from the 80s) that I was going to use for the 9's but it really didn't supply the power that the 9's needed. So after looking around and considering some options, I decided to make a major upgrade due to finding a good deal. I am ditching the 430 and going to run the 9's off of the sub section of the roadster which will supply the perfect amount of 300 watts per 9, as well as allow me to use the adjustable subsonic filter to band-pass the signal from 50-160 hz. Now the 2 RSDC 10s will be powered buy a PG RS1200.1 which at 2 ohms will give me 1200 watts for the 10s. I think you will be able to hear me commin now...
