If you read my intro thread, than you know the condtion of my car.

I am rebuilding the front as the PO must have slammed a ditch or something that caused the lower portion of the core support to be pushed back. I will be replacing it along with the hood, bumper, headlight header panel with the parts that I scored for $50 for all three plus an extra set of headlights.

I have already reset panel gaps(hood, fenders and doors). I have already removed old bumper, headlights, headlight header panel, corner lights, hood latch, bracket, radiator brackets, cooling system control box, coolant resevoir and bumper support.

Here's some picturess of my progress:

I probably will end up replacing passenger fender, just haven't decided.

Its not to bad, just time consuming. I have to purchase a radiator core support before I can do much more besides some paint. I'll definitely keep this updated with pics as I get things done.

Well, haven't done a whole lot lately. Started prepping new/used hood bumper. I also snagged my brothers tri-spokes. I've also been chasing down an airbag issue.

I'm in the works of selling the 3.8L and its related components. Leaving it in the car so potential buyers can see/hear it run. Will remove once I have a serious buyer. I also just scored a 95' T4MO EEC, EEC harness, injector harness and a few other relating parts for $45! ;-) I know I have an auto, but plans have changed for that now.

I know its slow and everyone likes pictures, but I really haven't done anything that is picture worthy.

Hes got a lot of work ahead of him but I think with the plans he has and his choice of direction, this car will be a mean car once done.

dont know if youve gotten your core support yet but if not then check out latemodel. their's are really nice and a perfect factory fit and very reasonably priced. my body guy that did the welding said he'd not seen one as nice and factory matched.
i just went through all of that earlier this year, lots of work. no fun!! lol

keep it up!! oh and by the way youll probably have to order the corner brackets from cjpony as they seem to be the only company selling them anymore. again good quality and reasonably priced.

I will tackle thr core support once the engine is out. I'll check out LRS when I go to purchase a replacement core.

I am upgrading suspension before drivetrain so its ready for whatever I can throw at it. Than new paint and finally driveline.

Well, received the harness/EEC combo today. Here's what was included:

T4MO EEC
EEC Harness
Injector Harness
CCRM
TFI
Trans Harness
MAF Harness
Misc. Vac Sensors

Needless to say, I definitely scored big for only $45. :)

I did get a relay module that I believe is something to do with the ignition.

Ordered new tierod ends. Also had to buy replacement radio harnesses as the po had cut them out(cheapass retards).

This is painfully slow as I am not one for patience. Hoping tax time brings some goodies to get things roiling.

Received the tie rod ends on saturday and got around to installing them. Also put two of the tri-bars on the rear. Drove it down the highway and still have a vibration above 40mph. Its either the stock wheels with tires are bad(my assumption) or since the rack has play, its allowing the wheels to move freely. I also roughed up the new/used bumper and put stuff back on.

Heres some pics of it.

Drove the pony today and didn't like the play in the steerin, so I decided to diagnose and fix the problem. I coulf rock the wheel about an inch back and forth. I also had a clunk. Popped the hood to twist and yank on the shaft to try and replicate the issue. I determined that it had nothing to do with anything in the engine bay. So, I moved into the passenger compartment and crawled under the dash to check the steering components.

I turned the shaft back and forth and soon located the source of the clunk and play in the steering. The cinch bolt on the coupler that attachs to the column shaft was not tightened correctlt allowing the column shaft to rotate roughly an 1/8" back and forth. Grabbed a 13mm wrench and tightened it.

Steering is tight but have an issue with it wandering, vibration above 50mph now instead of 40mph along with a mostly crimped pressure line on the rack that starts at the upper portion of the pinion housing and runs to the front middle of the rack housing.
