I havent posted on here in a while so i figured id share what I've been up to. I bought an 01GT last year and I sold my 96GT this last week. I've got plans for a turbo setup this summer. We purchased a home this last year so i will have to see how the finances go along with my plans. Right now I am working on fabricating some new lower shock mounts at work, so my rear coil overs aren't on yet. Its been a blast to drive and Im looking forward to some real power.

my mods so far:
FRPP alum driveshaft
Mac CAI
welded in blowmasters
MM sport valved bilstien coilover kit
FR500 17x9's and 17x10.5's

Now i need to decide turbo or centi because it will cost about the same either way :dontknow: I think i may post on the local forum and see if anyone has an s or si trim car and also look for someone with a turbo car that will give me rides so i can decide. My dad has a GT500 so i know what a positive displacement blower is like but I've decided against it. Ive never been in a centri car or a turbocharged V8. My girl has an Audi TT so i kinda know how boost comes on in a turbo car but a small turbo on a 1.8 is not really comparable to a mid sized turbo on a V8. Decisions decisions...

Yeah you can't compare a stock turbo 4 banger to a turbo V8 lol, if both are about the same I say go with the turbo for better power gains.

I know lol. I guess i was trying to say that you can feel how the boost comes on in a turbo car compared to a positive displacement blower. Ive been leaning more towards the turbo setup because its different and will also tackle some more suspension mods in the process.
