Does anyone have a set of solid lifters laying around that they do not need or ones that I can borrow? I need to check the PVC with my new heads and my current lifters are hydraulic so I need a set of solid lifters just to make sure the PVC is correct.

you can convert a stock hydraulic to solid

OR, you can get a low tension "checking spring" and replace your valve springs on one cylinder with it. Thats actually what I HAD to do, because i could not remove my link bar lifters to use a solid. Infact, I would strongly recommend using the spring method since it uses the actual parts that will be used in your engine (minus the springs, which dont affect PTV)

I don't have the tools to take a spring off and put it back on again. Much more easy for me just to get a lifter. Thanks Adam
