Ill be taking my car to my painter in alil over a week and to keep cost down Ill be pulling some of the stuff before it goes to him. But I have a few questions on how to remove some stuff.
1. How do the sail panels come off?
2. Can the rubber trim around the windshield and rear window be removed without removing them?
3. Should I keep the running boards or ditch them?
It will be a complete color change which is partially why all this will be removed. I wasnt planning on it being painted this season but a buddy stepped up and will be doing the paint for me. If theres any other advice please feel free to post it up.
What we will be doing,
headlights, taillights removed
Sail panels removed,
rockers (running boards) removed,
belt line trim removed,
scuff plates, door sills, kick panels removed (to jam it)
front and rear bumpers will be loosened to assure coverage,
wing will be removed as well as the hood to have underside sprayed as well.
