need help pricing my pi and some advice

ok i was thinking of selling my pi swap to get a 4v in my gt i was told it was better to go with a 4v than a pi swap and if so how much can i get for my pi it is an 02 setup romeo i have complete motor in pieces the block has to be rehoned (rings are good just sat out for awhile) soo a good hone would be good and all the bearings are good heads pass needs 4 valve guildes on the intake side??? dont know why intake is the one with the alluminun cross over(the good one) got all the bolts,allthe gasket from when i took it apart stock manifolds,tb,pl,fuelrail soo how much can i sell this stuff for so i can go 4v doggie style

First off, all the bolt's are junk, throw em right in the trash. Secondly, you can maybe squeeze between 800 and 1k out of it. Good luck.

I'd pay around $500-$650 for an engine that's torn apart. If you put it back together you should see about $800-$900. But then again if you find someone who wants to stroke an engine or build up a 4.6 so his car won't be out of service with building an engine you could make about the same. Either way, you're short of a 4V by about $3,000.

Hell... I almost bought a 96 Cobra motor for 2000 that only had 18000 miles on it.

Damn! All I ever see the engines go for is $3,500. Sometime you'll see one go for $2,000 but it needs work. If I would've known a way to get a complete 4V engine for $2,000 I wouldn't have done the PI swap.

Be patient and search hard, Mustang boards is the best way to find them.

we have a junk yard called cofers u pull it and theres a crap load of mark8s and contenintal
