I have a few questions that I need answers for. I feel a lot of vibration on my floor bored is that bc of motor mounts or could it be my cross member or k member, or my shocks?
also, I bought the car and someone had deleted the smog and welded it shut on the motor is there any way to replace that or fix it without harming anything seeing how its behind my valve covers?

A lot of stuff can cause vibration. A few more details would help.

Does the vibration get worse with speed? Does it ever go away?

Do you have a 5 speed or auto? I've driven a car where a wrong weight flywheel was installed and it felt like the car would shake itself apart when the engine rpms would go above 2K.

Yeah you kinda have to be as specific as you can man. For instance does it vibrate at a certain speed? In a certain gear? When accelerating? When decelerating? As much info as you can provide will help give you a more solid answer as to where you should be looking.

As for the EGR.. If it's blocked off via weld, and it's throwing a code, the only thing I can suggest is to either replace the part that the EGR attaches to on the motor (if that's where it's welded shut) or if it's welded on the manifold you'll need to cut the weld off and try to salvage whats left of the port. Or the easy way would be to simply turn it off using a tuner

Is it the origional motor and how many miles are on it?
Harmonic balancers like to go out on the 5.0's.
If the car has high miles, the u-joints could also be going out.
Motor mounts are a possibility also but less likely

It shakes when I accelerate and when I'm in fifth just driving! I feel it in the floor and in the shifter could it be u joints or would that still be caused by balancer the whole car shakes when I put it in first the first time and sometimes when I decelerate.

On the EGR can I take that part off bc is right behind the valve cover on the passenger side

Your highest priority is ti ensure it's not the balancer. A slipped/spun balancer can do a lot of engine damage in short order. Check to see if there are any visible signs of rubber protruding from the balancer on the engine side or any wobble when running or movement of any kind with the belt removed.

Exactly if there is please don't drive or run your car unless its a absolutely necessary and you have to take someone to the hospital....otherwise it can and will ruin your motor
