So the flaw has to be in the wiring somewhere. Ive replaced just about everything I can, and the only thing I can think is that something is wrong with the wiring to the MAF. Im not exactly sure what to test but I intend on trying to find something this afternoon.

Ok so here is the last question for this thread I believe. What are the chances that my computer is bad? My maf is recieving power, ground is constant, and it is sending signals. Both sets of injectors are operating(19's and 24's). My tps doesnt have a dead spot. All ignition components have been replaced, except for plug wires. Put back on stock regulator, so its not a fpr issue. This is getting funny and now my throttle response is getting to be an issue as well.

Whats your base timing set at ? Did you replace your Harmonic Balancer ? Sounds like timing is off to me after watching the video

Balancer is still original. Timing is around 10-12, marks are a tad hard to read. I assumed timing was off as well. But it runs pretty well. But now it has lost power accelerating and stil acts like a rev limiter around 4000. Could my balancer have spun that bad?

I misread initially - I thought you had new plug wires. Have you checked them for leakage and proper routing? It's possible for there to be an inductance crossfire (there was a TSB about it during the aero fox years IIRC).

Your changing alot of things besure to keep track. Usually just throwing on lots of parts can start new issues.

Can you tell me how to check for leakage? They are factory ford wires.

One way is to pop the hood at night and start the engine. While being very careful of moving engine parts, the risk of shock, burn, etc, spray the plug wires with water from a spray bottle and look for light leaking from the wires or sounds of spark grounding.

Well I played with it today. My balancer has spun. I have my timing set around 20 according to
The balancer no knocks or pings. It's
Back in running order. Thanks everyone. I'm hoping to be able to go get a tune now.

So I checked my balancer today. It wobbles more than a one legged alcoholic.

Thats not good... that will cause major engine damage if left alone.... mostly destroying your main bearings. it could be causing your high RPM misfire, but I dont think so....

The fact I couldn't time it correctly was causin the issue. It was basically 10 degrees retarded of
Where it should have been.

I could tell it was timing from watching the video , man I should be working at a Ford dealer instead of a Dodge dealer LOL

Replace the balancer ASAP before you end up doing a crankshaft with it
