almost lost my car today :nonono: I was at fault if it there was an accident, but i swerved like a motherfucker and the truck was like 1 inch away from my baby. The SUV was on the opposite side in a turn lane and i went thru the yellow light (stayed yellow while going through). You know almost everyone goes through an yellow, but damn this was scary as hell.

Wouldve hit me right on the drivers side door side hard if i didnt swerve.. :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke:

For now.. ill wait at yellow lights no matter what!!

if you enter an interection while it just turns yellow its not your fault, well thats what I thought here at least, its safer to go thru then to break. (depends if theres traffic of coruse)

glad to hear you and the car are okay man.

a yellow is stop if its safe to meaning your not right under it or so close you have to slam on the brakes ..by what he said it sounds like he was a ways back and got on it to get through and it was probley a very dark orange light ::) when he did get into the intersection and the other direction had become green already ....

yellow means floor it here in Va :)

yup, same in cali, but people out here seem to think yellow = slam on the brakes. like they are 10 ft away from the light, and it turns yellow and they slam on the brakes to stop in time. its annoying when they do this and ive almost hit a few people like this.

oh, and if there is a camera at the intersection, yellow = stop ;)

I'm terrible for running yellow lights. Especially in the Mustang because of the extra power it has. My wife is always telling me I'm on borrowed time from getting hit or getting a ticket. I hate waiting at lights and having to brake hard to stop at them. It's a hard habit to break. Glad you avoided a crash. You would have lost in a collision with an SUV.

glad to hear you're ok, man. sometimes you gotta weigh the options... saving a minute is not worth the risk of causing/being in an accident.
