your only "free" option is to jack it up and tighten it up..... the proper way to fix it is to take it to a shop and have hangers welded on.

not sure the year/make of your mustang, but on my 1996 theres a mounting location under the transmission with two small bolts. you could see if BBK skipped that and have a shop put in fab work to mount it properly.

Thats normal if you dont have the pipes jacked up when you tighten them.

Only way to really fix it is get some hangers welded on.

+1 that is normal, the only hangers on the midpipe are up front, if you just let it hang and let the catback hang it's going to droop in the middle since the catback hangers are behind the mufflers. just jack the thing up and retighten it ffs lol.

Agree with the others. You have to support the x-pipe as you tighten it. I have to do this with mine every time.
