If your so sure then why did u ask? Your also comparing times from a fox body to a sn95 vert. What was your mph and 60' time with the fox?

14.2 @96mph with drag radials

The heads are ported all to hell and look perfect so after calling trickflow they are telling me to use a pushrod lenght checker because the 6.7 pushrods wont work with stock cam ....

I'm thinking of just getting a trickflow stage 1 cam or steada 19 cam what do you guys think??

Ya there is a really good dyno shop in Sacramento CA or that im going to take the car after I'm done building it ....

Its around $500 for the session :tongue3:

I have a Steeda #19 cam but if i had TFS heads and intake I'd probably go with one of their cams as well...


I don't think you'll get low 13s high 12s easy, but it should be within reach if you can drive it.

not saying it isnt possible, but thats going to be hard in a much heavier car that is going to not be as stiff coming off the line.

How much more does a Convertible weigh then a hard top??

I will have full body sub frams that are custom made by M&M performance in Sac so the body will be stiff but I really can do anything about the weight shit lol lol lol

Anyway the car is going to be so much better and I cant wait..

the setup will definatetly be better, but if i remember right there is a few hundred pounds of difference. someone correct me if im wrong on the weight diff. please!!

on average figure an extra tenth of a second for every extra hundred pounds of additional weight. its the same reason that a notchback lx 5.0 was always faster than a gt in the ol'fox's. it was like a 400lb difference, again correct me if im wrong. trying to remeber stats after putting in 12.5 hours on a home security system will fry your brain worse than drugs!!!! lol

Verts have been seen to be in the 3600# area, where even the Cobra coupe was only curbed at 3365#. A low option GT (GTS) will be closer to 3200#

Where is the 14.6@96MPH coming from? I was asking about the 12 second run with the fox that has just heads and 3.73's. You said it was a 12 second mustang I just wanted to hear some more details about the run, the mph 60' time and any suspension work done at all?

The Lx foxbody ran a 12.9 at 110 mph with a 1.8 60 foot

The car had Huge ported gt40x heads with Ford E303 cam stock intake , T Body,Mass air.3:73 gears .19lb injectors, short throw shifter, Under drive pulleys. Upper and lower control arms.coil,rebuilt trans with shorter first gear,aluminum drive shaft, x pipe no cats . and some more little shit ..

I smoked smoked the shit out of my good friend with his build 90 GT with a powerdyne lol lol ... :headbang:
