Thanks. It's a pretty cool car overall. I still see my old Mach 1 project around town. The new owner drives it daily! Haha.
Quick project update.
Got my best ET and MPH this past Sunday! Went 12.41 @ 112mph on my street tires and still just bolt ons!!!
Check out my run against a GT500.............. LOL!

Yep. 2008 with TVS upgrade from '13 Trinity setup with 2.4 pulley that makes 680rwhp! Haha.

ouch that shelby either needs driver mod or it needs tire lol 12.7@123 a modded gt500 older model near stock or not 12.7 is sad a car with 500hp stock should run faster then that lol especially with 123 trap speed lol

Project Mach 1 update 1-21-2016 -
The current owner of my old Mach 1 project came by the shop this past weekend so I could do a little paint correction on the car.
So I got a chance to photograph 2 of my projects together.

Damn man those are two nice cars! You do some spectacular detail work by the way. I think those two cars would probably sell for more than the house I'm in the process of buying lol
G8 update!!!!!
1st track outing since CAM ONLY BRO swap!!!!
I borrowed a set of 26" ET Street drag radials from Rick Crawford for this outing.
I drove the car to the Fayetteville Motorsports track from Fastlane when I got outta work today and let it cool for about 45 mins.
I decided to make a quick shake-down pass to see how the car responded to the tire change.
Normal burnout to generate a little smoke.
Staged car, brought it up to 1800rpms, and launched.
Car left good, but squealed the tires a little on the 2nd and 3rd gear change.
Went 11.61 @ 119mph!
The cam swap, head work, and Rick's tuning managed to pick my car up 7 tenths from my previous best (on street tires) of 12.30's!
About 1 hour later I ran the car one more time to try and duplicate or best my previous pass.
This time I did a little longer burnout and staged the car.
1800rpm launch but this time I punched it harder outta the gate.
Car wiggled a little on the 2nd and 3rd gear swaps, but I stayed in it and crossed the stripe.
I was stoked to see the car ran a 11.57 @ 120mph!!
This G8 continues to amaze me! Basically a bolt on car running all MOTA going consistent mid 11's.
I cannot say enough good things about Rick Crawford Racing and all the advice he gave me to get the car to this level!

So the shop I work at (Fastlane) stocks the ROVOS wheels.
Kenneth, the guy that bought my Mach 1, wanted to change the looks up a bit and get a set of the ROVOS wheels for it.
I hooked him up with a set of 18-9 front and 18-10.5 rears in glass black.
He loves the look. I think it looks pretty good, but I think the Chrome saleens were better....... call me biased. LOL
Anyway, figured I'd share a few pics of it.
