Must have been a pretty good offer! As sad as it is to see this go, I'm excited to see what's next on your build list.

Mach 1 got sold Friday night!
Sunday night (tonight) there is a 2008 Pontiac G8 GT in my garage!!
The cash from that sale bought the G8! No money outta my pocket! Boom!

Here's what I have determined so far, I thought the car was stock and the lady I bought it from had no idea what she had! Mods were done prior to her owning it.

2008 G8 GT
80k miles
Liquid Red
Sport package - 19" wheels, black/red leather interior

The car is awesome!
Magnaflow exhaust
Rotofab cold air kit
Lowering springs
Billet oil catch can kit

I have only driven it onto and off my trailer.

The paint needs some major correcting by me to remove the swirls/scratches. Nothing I cannot knock out!
Gotta get it on the dyno and see what I'm starting with.

LS mota coming atcha!!!!!

Haha. Stay tuned for the adventure.

NOTE - Not many know this but I was a die-hard Chevy (GM) guy in my teens. I've owned quite a few Camaros (69, 76, 80, 85, 86), a 1982 Firebird (Knight rider edition), along with an 1995 Impala SS.
So this is my 2nd Pontiac product, but my first LS Mota!!

I certainly did not know that. Those G8's can be some serious sleepers, and they are holdens so they are really well built! excited to see what you do next

Yes those look REAL good on them! Haha! I was considering a set for mine also!
However, the horsepower bug has bit first.

I just won an Ebay auction on a new 2012 Camaro differential housing with Limited Slip and a 3.45 gearset.
Talked to local tuner - Rick Crawford and he is gonna tune it for me soon.

man that thing is killer! I almost picked one of those up a few years back but my wife was the one commuting far to work and I didn't think it would do well in snow! Good looking ride man!

I will never argue putting performance above aesthetics, you can't see the wheels while your in the drivers seat anyhow! Keep us posted, I'm interested to see what you build

how do you like the new intake?

I changed the intake, throttle body, and underdrive crank pulley at the same time.
Definitely noticeable improvement in response and mid range power!
Gonna get some 1-7/8" long tube headers next!

Still got my Camaro differential with 3.45 gears to install (replaces my factory 2.92 gears).

Should be pretty quick after those mods!!
