Well, last time around I was having ptv contact on my CMS stage 3 blower cams, so I had to swap the cams out. Swapped the cams for custom grind bullet racing cams, had my cams line bored, and started putting everything back together. Here is how she sits now. Should be all degreed/timed come early next week, then I'll start setting up the 8 rib pulley setup...other than that just little stuff and then the motor should be good to go in the car:

Re: Newest update on the build

thanks guys, other than stupid sensors and stuff to buy, the next huge chunk is going to be the fuel system and possibly meth, havent driven this car in 2 years so I'm getting pretty anxious

Re: Newest update on the build

why not use your old sensor until something is actually broke?

Re: Newest update on the build

very cheap to replace, and if I'm building a 10k motor might as well do it right the first time, i dont mind spending $100 extra bucks after what I've put into this thing lol

Re: Newest update on the build

i just swapped mine over. i can afford to skimp on new sensor up until one actually shorts. i have several ive found when buying other parts that i thought i actually bought. hence 3 romeo covers that i do not need.

Re: Newest update on the build

I would be happy w/ mid 500's through the built auto and stall, I really dont want to get carried away w/ dyno numbers b/c i know setups like this can be very misleading. As long as it pulls and runs with no leaks I'll be happy haha

Got a lot done today...

Re: Newest update on the build

i should have painted my timing cover. i was just lazy. i had it hot tanked since it was removed from a retired t-bird. im digging this build. also, thats one hell of a spread under the intake. if i install the RR intake i may put a nitrous setup under there.

Re: Newest update on the build

yeah there really is a pretty big gap between manifold/block. I'm thinking of setting up my regular in front of the manifold, and running the return lines under the manifold

Re: Newest update on the build

got a ton more progress, every GI joe 8 rib conversion on except power steering, bracket/blower, lines run, pretty much all thats left is wiring/vacuum lines, coils/wires, just little odd/ends:
