Hell yeah man! Bet that felt good to hear it run. Looking forward to seeing how much power it makes. Have any idea what it'll make with a 3.15? 450rwhp plus?

Yes was very happy to hear it. I would be happy with 450 or so. May end up going smaller pulley to get it closer to 500

On another positive note. Got my buddies firebird fired up after the HCI install. Sounds very healthy.

I changed the oil on the car and finally let it get up to operating temp. Oil looked great and she has zero leaks. Might be seeing some dyno videos come next week.

Im really interested to see what kind of power it makes and your impression from the compression increase.

Have you driven it at all?

Yeah I'm really excited to see what it does. I havnt driven it at all as I have an all new Maf/injector setup and dont want to put any load on it until the tuner gets ahold of it.

Good idea, you dont want to fill the crank case with fuel.

Did you dyno it on the old setup?

Yes, on the old engine/non intercooled and a 3.6 pulley it made 397rwhp and 400rwtq If I remember right. Im thinking it should hit 450+ pretty easily with the higher compression, 3.15 pulley and intercooler.

A couple of nights ago I ripped my gas tank out and drilled a bunch of holes in the walbro 290 bucket to make sure it doesnt starve itself for fuel. I think it said it was rated for 600 crank hp so I should be good.

Have you had any extended cranking issues after drilling that basket out? I kind of had the same thing done to mine and I had to prime the pump a few times so the car would start easier. I swapped to a pre 97 tank setup with a 340lph pump and took care of my cranking problems.

Damn you have a sunroof, ehhhhhhhhhh
Ehhhh is right..... the bastard whistles loud as hell down the highway and soaks the seat when pressure washed. I think a swift back hand is in order to the previous owner, maybe even with my ring hand.
