Cams were just sent out for degreeing. Ordered my valve springs, tfs adjustable crank gears and my valve spring compressor tool. Should have the motor back together in a couple of weeks.

Tool is handy! I like that it holds in place where as the others are lever operating. One hand to install keepers can be a pain and its some what of an art to learn.

I did make one but its throwing and error code everytime I try to upload it. I'll throw it on here if I get it figured out.

Also last night I decided to start taking the dash out to rip all the hvac and heater core stuff out. Never once have I used it so I might as well ditch it to save weight.

Heater core and the rest of the ac crap is out. Made some aluminum firewall covers too.

I ditched my A/C too but I'm waaay too skinny to give up my heater lol. But we don't get much snow here so I can actually drive my car throughout winter.

I wish we didnt. The mustang gets put away in Sept and doesnt see the light of day until around April.

New oil pump and cams have shipped and will be here next week Wednesday. Just picked up my new valve stem seals lastnight. Really looking forward to getting these thrown on.

Well everything showed up last night. And in my usual fashion I decided to do work. Got the springs installed and cams lined up by 1am.

And here she is after timed and multiple crank turns to assure no ptvc issues.

Will be switching over to the 94-97 fuel system and a 340lph e85 compatible pump. Still trying to source a few things.

I'll also add, I fully intend to run E-85 next year, we will see how far the 60lb injectors get me and the 340 pump. This thing is going to do 500whp!

Also [MENTION=20210]lwarrior1016[/MENTION] .... I purchased the quantum 340 pump and a new fuel pump hanger. The only thing I'm needing now is the feed and return line to the pump.

Just want to give a huge shout out to William (lwarrior1016) for helping me out with wiring the new fuel system in. After my countless texts and short phone conversion I was able to get it done. If anyone has a 98 car and is wanting to tackle this project I would also be more than happy to help you out. Can be intimidating moving pins around and cutting/splicing into your main harness.

Any time, brother! I am always down to help when I can. Have you turned the key and made sure the pump came on?

No the engine is still out so the feed line is currently hanging out in the engine bay. I wont be able to test it tell I get everything back on the car. And my entire steering column is still sitting on my work bench lol.
