Night and day difference

I installed my shift kit yesterday and all I can say is WOW it really makes a difference in the performance. It actually barks 1-2 and shift hard into third. It is one of the best performance mods I have done. :dancing6:

Now all I need is to go pick up my motor from Griffin GA and put it together, then a stall and I will be a happy camper :banana:

i loved my shift kit that was in my old 96 gt. it also scratched going into second, and on a nice day in asphalt, it would scratch into 3rd too!

Yes it is a transgo HD2 kit. I dont know much about the jmod give me a little overview.

As far as a viedo well I dont own a viedo camra :wall:

I actually just bought me a modified valvebody from BC-Automotive. It really chirps the going into 2nd and it chirps pretty good going into third depending on the surface.

I will say this though if you ever get on it and just romp on it it will shift fast unloaded.....lol

I took one day and brought the RPMs up to about 1500, turned the O/D off and just stomp down on it and before I knew it 1...2...3, I was in third gear and the speedo was at 110mph and we had no moved really just sitting there roasting the tires. Wish I could have got a vid of it. Modified Valvebodies on these transmission are a blast and really wake them up. Supposedly they drop off quite a few .10's on track times too.

I think i'll stay with my stick. but shift kits are a good way to make up some in an auto

Normal driving for me was not effected, what I did was it became a little aggressive at just cruising around town because between the 1-2shift being faster and I already had the pressure boosted through the tuner I actually turned the 1-2 partial throttle pressure down close to stock and now i can feel it a little but no more jerking sensation.

I left the WOT setting for all the gears the same, otherwise in town nothing dramatic changed.

I did leave all the WOT setting in all the gear's pressures up, and you can tell when those bad boys light up between gears!!!

I just installed a Factory Tech VB in a Lightning and all I can say is damn!!! The truck on the streets anymore then half throttle it barks them good and then 3/4 throttle 2-3 stills puts the truck sideways....lol Even 3/4 throttle 3-4 slightly chirps them. Thats also due to 580rwhp and 610rwtq.....lol
