Nittos/Tires..

This sucks..bought these 16" pony rims and noone makes anything in a 16"..the only thing I can find thatll fit that doesnt break the bank is this..

Better than some fuzion zr1 z rated tires i'd imagine?

I have heads, cam, intake, injectors, exhaust, cold air, gears etc..the pony rims just have some fuzion zr1 tires on them now..are these nittos worth the purchase? I dont want to spend anymore than that really, and would liek to spend less but its so hard to find anything in a 16"..

Have you looked on tirerack.com and discounttiredirect.com (the folks selling in the ebay auction)? What type of tires are you looking for?
If you are just looking for good dry/wet tires these http://www.discounttiredirect.com/direct/findTireDetail.do?pc=43094&counter=1&ar=50&rd=16&sw=false&cs=245 are great tires. I have them on my wifes fusion and they perform outstanding in both wet and dry (and light snow).
But if you are looking for more performance (sticky) tires then those Nitto's will fit the bill.

Sorry man shoulda specified myself..

I'm looking for tires for the drag strip mainly, ones I can throw on my pony rims. Im thinking about pulling the trigger on those.

nittos are a good drag tire.

why dont you just buy slicks, 15" wheels (v6 wheels) and a set of 26x8.5x15 slicks will run you sub 350......

I need four lug..as I'm an 89 mustang. Shoulda said that too. But I just bought these wheels, I'd rather not sell them and have to go through all that again

well theo nly other thing you can get is a DOT slick like a MT et Street which will be better then the nitto's all day...

youll get some bulge, BUT you can dril the wheel/tires and run a tube on those tires...
