its loud as hell though.


on a pleasant side note you need o2 extensions for the front for future refrence :wall:

no o2 extension needed here. 1st time hearing about a 96-98 needing them.

Good luck with the rest of the install. Get the sound clips up

im no exhaust expert but i think i have a leak :wall: :wall: :wall:
im going by the dealership on monday to have them look at it...
this blows.

as long as you tightened everything, i can almost guarantee it's not a leak.

i don't know what to call it tho. I guess it's scavenging!? but i hear it in my car too. i could hear it when it was stock when it was bogging but i hear it almost all the time now with the o/r x. i thought mine was an exhaust leak at first too, but then i tested it and nothing came up and i figured out it was the o/r x

idk maybe your right :/

it just sounds like the vast majority of the sound is coming from the front of the car...
but then again i have dumps so maybe thats what its supposed to sound like :dunno:

Leaks are very common when changing mid-pipes...just make sure you use a good gasket and you can put some ultra copper RTV on it to ensure a good seal.

have the video on my camera just have to download it to photobucket or something..
ive never posted a video before :p
leak is getting worse. got my liveernois intake in today so on monday going by the ford dealer to have the intake put on as well as the exhaust tightened.

tommorow is dedicated to installing the lowering springs! :dancing6: :dancing6:
