im wondering around about how my mustang is going to run with my new combo vs the old.. i had gt40p's with the exhaust side cleaned up a little and i polished the ports. cobra upper and lower and a f cam. with the stock 3:08 rear gears. now i'm going to have a stock explorer long block( gt40p's explorer upper and lower with the super small stock truck type cam) but with 3:73's. both combo's have whats pretty much listed in my sig... k&n cone drop in,bbk LT's bassani o/r x and dumped straight pipe to the rear axle (sounds amazing.. good decent idle but WOW when you get on it) msd coil cap and wires... thats about it..i have heard a lot about how much of a difference gears will make.. and the combo is very similar with the exception being the cam and the little work done to the heads... will it atleast run as good.. as it was?.. will the gears help to overcome the cam.. and will it be torque.....ey?just a few words of advice would be helpful. i'm hoping to pull the blown engine this weekend and get started on getting the explorerengine put together and at least close to being ready to be dropped in... thanks guys..
