750 CCA and all you have to do is cut the back of the tray a little bit. I just installed one of these in my car to get the tight ass new motor I have to crank over and it did the trick. Do NOT waste your money on a red top battery, spend the extra to get the deep cycle power of the yellow top. If you let a red top discharge it'll be gone just like any other battery. If a yellow top discharges just throw it on the charger and it'll come right back. Also alot of guys say to use the 75-25 series, I disagree. The 34/78 fits under the stock hood in the stock tray and has 100 more CCA.

Here is a pic of it installed in my car. It comes with the "puck" hold down which works OK but I'm still going to get one of the autozone hold downs for some extra insurance.

So yeah this is THE battery to get.

nice bro. how much do they cost?

Alot...that one was $200 from Summit but I'm not going to have to buy another battery again for a LONG time. The cheapest red top is $150 so I saw absolutely no reason to pony up another $50 for the better yellow top.

I bought my redtop for 139 and the yellow top was 179 from Advance Auto. There's no way the yellow top would fit though. I guess I could have done it your way but I really don't have any need for a yellow top.

Looks good man. Hopefully you have better luck than most. I would say 50% of our Optimas come back or don't last more than 3 years. They just are not as good as they used to be.

Well great... Eh, it got my motor started and if it lasts 3 years I'll be happy I guess.
