Ordered my longtubes today

Flowtech longtubes to be exact.. fits automatic 98 GT.. 270.90 shipped to my door. Should be here by the weekend :banana: Not planning on installing them right away, I just wanted to get them here so I didn't have to worry about getting a set in a tight spot. At the moment our friend is looking for a wrecked 99+ GT 5 speed for me to get the motor and tranny out of.. Going to swap the PI motor and the 5 speed into my car.. get it to where I've always wanted, banging gears and smiling knowing Its "stock" under the hood yet coincidently fast for a 4.6 gt ^-^ I'm hoping it all comes together.. i've been wanting to drop the PI swap on it but with the automatic it makes it poo in the end knowing i can't do cams without a stall oh well, pictures to be whored when I get them in the mail :hammer:

I know of a brand new "crate" PI motor from a 2001 Stang I believe it is..... $2999, no trans though?

i've done longtubes before.. not scared at all. I hope they fit good to, if they don't i'll make them fit. I gotta welder 8)

Thanks but i'm good. Considering I can get a whole 99+ GT wrecked in the back with 5 speed and all I need for less then that. I gots connections O0

you have done them on a 4.6 before ??? They are a pain in the ass on a modular, there is no room to do crap on those damn things. Ive had LT's on my 98GT and my 99Cobra and the K member came off for both of my installs

well they fit 5speed/autos.. flowtechs can fit both, which is why i bought them. I meant in a way that it can be used in my car with automatic, and in a car with a 5speed.. gotta think about it, if it can fit an automatic, it sure as hell can fit the skinny butt bellhousing a 5 speed has compared

I ran across a ws6 last summer with the lt1 and 6 speed still there, just wrecked. i'm sure it's picked apart though by now. If i see one i might pick it up and let it go to a new home to get rebuilt

othat would be tight as hell, if you can find a 6 speed out of one, I will buy it from you if it's less than $400
