PI cam swap question

Theres no reason for him to lie.

You know, this is where I normally let loose with some really really sarcastic response... But are you kidding me? There's no reason for him to lie? What about the reason where he get's to sell you springs and the labor to install them? That's the most absurd session of backpeddling I have ever seen in my life.

The spring's carry the same part number, and ALWAYS have. Not because they have combined them or some other nonsense, but because they are the exact same spring, with the same closed pressure, and different installed height's...

Ask Randy Stinchomb, or anyone you really want, except the guy TRYING TO TAKE YOUR MONEY. Good night Irene, just mail it to me now and I'll take it if you wanna piss it away that bad.

haha...im not buying the springs or getting him to install the cams anyway.

J.R.----- what you don't understand is that HE WONT DO THE SWAP because he said it WOULD BE A WASTE OF MONEY and that by the time that he did the spring job it wouldn't be worth it and that it would be too much money for too little of gains. He said it can be done with out the spring job but he wouldnt feel comfortable doing it. If you spoke to the man you would understand that he's not the way most shops are. For you to say he's trying to jack the price up, well, thats just not fair. And i never planed on having him do the swap for me i was just asking about the details so i could do it myself. He also gave me estimate for him to do a full PI swap that was significantly lower, and i mean by a lot, then the other three shops that i got a estimate from.

I understand where your coming from and i know alot of shops try to "play" you into spending more money then you need, but for you to make that accusation is just wrong, especially when its how this man makes a living.

He is a great guy and is very reasonable...he does great work, best anywhere as far as im concerned.

He is not trying to rip anyone off...like he said, if you knew him, you would understand..

He is very concerned with getting everything 100% right.

He realizes that PI cams will work in a npi head but he doesnt feel comfortable doing it without new springs...hes a perfectionist.
