polishing my tail pipes

little project im taking on, im new to the polishing scene and this video gave me a how too on how to go about it for anyone who is intrested.

i don't really get the point. why not just put some s/s polish on them to make them shine? that seems like a lot of work for something that most people will not see and/or notice the difference between a regular polish on them and sanding them down with mouse grinders and stuff.

you do know how visible the exhaust is on IRS mustangs right??

Thats the first thing i really notice on those cars. It looks freakin sweet to see the pipes wide their way back up to the front of the car... We only have to worry about our tips and (if youre anal like me) the gas tank (i armor all mine weekly!) The next thing i need is the polished tank straps FTW!

doing this one pipe at a time so the difference is clear. this is about an hour of work time so far. started with a 120 and worked to a 220grit
im stoked so far with the result.
