I recently have an urge to see what tinted tails and third brake light would look like when done right on a sn95 car. Post up dont be shy!

thats the shade I want mine, how many coats did you use? And did you just wet sand them? Or clear coated them?

Umm, theres probably like 3-4 coats on it but thats pretty irrelevant cause you can determine the shade with the wetsanding.

I wetsanded them with 1500 and 2000 grit and polished them out with a buffer.

What is on your lights now?

If its just nightshades you could go at them with some sand paper to lighten them up a bit

Before they went on then i get reemed a new one and find out i can't have them here. So i have sanded them off and i think i am going to just tint the 3rd one and wet sand and polish the ones that light up to a nice finish

wow, you guys are awesome. Yeah Justin, I want to use VHT Night shades for mine and do it the traditional way...I want them to match the tint of my smoked headlights, but be light enough not to attract attention since NJ is rough.
