I started in Florida and went through Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Colorado and stopped at the Colorado/Utah border and then came back. The trail starts in Tennessee and ends on the coast of Oregon (trans-america trail) and the plan was for 2 of us to ride to Colorado where we would meet with another buddy and for 3 of us to ride the rest of the way to the coast. My first riding buddy ended up hurting his knee in Arkansas and had to turn back which put me riding solo until Colorado. When I got to Colorado I got a call from my buddy saying he can't make it so I decided to go ahead and ride the Colorado section but didn't want to risk going into the mojave/great basin desert solo so I cut the trip short. We plan on regrouping and finishing the trail next year starting in Colorado but it's a pita trying to get everyone's schedules to work together.
