426w with 74 block with some cnc ported trickflow twisted wedge heads. Its getting a 650/670 solid roller. Water injection and hopefully a bigger nitrous plate when funds allow. And a bigger carb#

I'll be glad when I can gather al of the needed parts and drop my 351 off at the shop to get cleaned, bored & stroked, then assembled.

Looking that's gonna be a while at this rate.........

Obviously it's a 2 bolt now but when I drop the block off I'm gonna discuss stepping up to 4 bolt mains and if adding s girdle on top of that will help.

I've thought about also doing s half fill in the block but that causes cooling issues.

My old car was half filled. I wish they made a 4 bolt that you could put the normal 351w in. It mad 800rwph and like 1600 torque, but it was starting to cap walk so it got turned down. Ive always heard you will spend the same as a 4 bolt splaying the mains. And imo a girdle is a waste of cash most good builders will tell you that. Your best bet would be studs, half fill and e85 if you can get it then it should not get hot. But the 460 sbf shortblocks are hard to beat for the price. Might look into those.

I already have my block. Low mileage truck roller. I'll go over all my options and thoughts with my builder when it gets to that time.

Eventually I'll get s dart block but I gotta find the funds to build what I got now. It will be a long while before I buy a dart.

I hope so. Gotta find it to build it tho. Hopefully things look a lil better after holidays. This year has been crazy and drained me more than ever.

But enough of that. Let's see more and hear more about your build.
