Hi All, thought Id start a biuld thread for this winter. Hopefully gonna get shit done! :eek:ccasion14:

so this is where im at now. I just bought the car back in May. So far its been a dream, and its one of the rarest SN-95's out there, with only 829 being produced.

DSC04232-Copy.jpg

So far, ive done only some exterior mods such as the Kaenan S-281 Wing, polished 2003 SVT's and some new headlights. Also did a few underhood things including red FRPP Plug wires.

Now, one thing im thinking of doing is either taking the Shinonda stripes off completley, or replacing them, let me konw what you think of that.

Ok, so lets get started on my mod list.

Im gonna go with a Bassani Catback and a UPR X pipe.

Accufab plenum and T/b, along with a custom painted tangerine K&N FIPK CAI.

Also, planning on doing the Full PI swap, but have one question.

I HATE the 99+ valve covers with the oil fill on the paasenger side, so is it possible to run my NPI valve covers?

Also, there are a few things that need to be done, such as a new IAC valve, new motorcraft plugs, etc.

Well, hope I can get this shit done soon, winters a comming, and thats MOD time. Im putting my 04 on hold to get this beast going! :headbang:

leave the stripes or replace them if you want. without them it's just another orange car. you have a rare breed show your stripes

I started with this. A clean engine bay , but whats that rusted thing on the Plenum? EWWWW, its the original IAC valve

So, I ordered a New NAPA one, since my uncle can get me great deals, and it came in today!!!

So I started by taking the Hose off, the sensor, and then started to unbolt the two bolts with an 8mm socket.

Heres a close up

Then I opened the NAPA box to see a shiny new IAC valve and gasket!

Love the car man and a big part of it is the stripes. They are very unique and they work well with your car. KEEP them.

it actually was a shinoda but only the base package with just striping

hope you dont mind me stepping up to tell them, lol, i pay way to much attention to your car.... the IAC really cleaned up the engine bay a lot, have you considered clear coating it to protect the new part look? just a couple quick mists are all you really need

Sorry, didn't highlight my comments, was in a hurry before so I fixed it. I think you did the right thing putting the new on one, one less thing to worry about down the road. If you ever want to sell this car, get with me. lol. I really like it a lot. Used to have a 96 GTS(no option, don't remember the official code) in this color and I really miss it.

Also, planning on doing the Full PI swap, but have one question. I would wait and put long tubes on while you do the swap, then put an exhaust on it. Much easier to do it then

I did, I sprayed it with cleaner last week, and it still sucked. The ford garage even cleaned it and said it was too far gone and dirty. I dont mind replacing it, just one more thing im not gonna have to do later on.....
