pypes muffler rattling!!

Well it's been 3 years since i put their violator catback on and now the passanger side muffler is rattling bad. it sounds like a$$!!!!
i sent them a email to see if they are going to honor their warranty or not. i hope they do.

they should... pypes is cheep for a reason... ive never been impressed with their quality or sound, but if you like them, more power to ya. I hope (for your sake) they honor their warranty and take good care of you.

I hope they do also.. i have been looking at going with mac dumps. but i can get a new system from them for free i hope. but as far as their sound goes i think it sounds pretty good. it does not sound like every other blowmaster mustang out there!! not raspy at all nice and deep and little drone at highway speeds!

Did you find out what was rattling before looking for a warranty claim?

Would suck to crawl under there and find out it is something like an OEM rubber donut on the hanger and nothing to do with the Pypes

yup had it up on a lift at my buddies shop! tapped on the muffler with a rubber mallet and it rattles. sounds like a loose baffle.

keep us posted, I have violators too.
I got them for the same reason. to be different. I've only had mine for 2 years though.
All stainless, flow through mufflers. price no drone

i wanna hear them. ive never heard this series of pypes, and i would love to stop bad-mouthing them if they have a ligitimately good product on the market.

one of my buddies had the complete violator kit on his new edge. it sounded ok for the price.

Just got off the phone with them. they said to send in the muffler and they will send me out a new one. after i get them swapped out i will post up a sound clip.

ive got a pypes o/r H pipe.. sounds great with my long tubes and dumps.. but i also have a rattle.. i just havent checked it out yet.. but the car sounds nasty at idle with my cams

5.0, bbk unequal shorties, no name o/r h, violator catback.
pretty quiet at idle, but when I'm standing on it you can hear them 1/2 mile away.
