So I know that the problem with doing the swap and using 302 headers is the deck height. But my question is since I'm doing a turbo would it matter!?!? Everything I'm reading says the reason for needin different headers is so it will match up to factory positioned downtube colectors.

Since I'm building a turbo car and have my headers already is it possible to use them since I will b making a single down pipe!?!?

The crossover tube will have a gap, unless you're building that too. Turbo will sit higher too.

I have the bg hotside kit. Crossover I can have cut and then weld an extra piece in. Gonna do a k-member with solid mounts so that will drop my motor and headers should be close to factory height again but I'm wondering if they will fit due to width maybe!?!? How much wider is the 351 block compared to the 302 where the headers would be mounted!?!!??
