My sisters fiance has one. Because of that, I'm on edge about buying one, since we are so similar as iti s.

BMW M3. I love Beemers. The 2010 Taurus is by far the most comfortable car I've ever sat in and it's pretty quick. The 2010 Maxima, looking from the driver's seat makes you feel like you're driving a $200k exotic. Those would all be nice but realistically, if I had that kind of money, I'd get something that was emissions exempt..wink..wink..

Audi TT Quattro. Very realistic, very affordable, very tempting.

I love most audis, but dear lord, TTs just scream girl car to me and I can't help it.
Mustang people are the only people who don't consider mustangs girl cars...

Haha I consider Mustangs girls cars half the time. There are so many women who drive S197 GTs around here. That or New Edge 6'ers. Iunno, I'm just not a fan of the TTs. They just look too "cute" kinda like new Beetles. They're just too fluffy looking IMHO.

I think it looks nice, and has a bit of an aggressive look to it.

I love R33 GTR Skylines more than any other car, and I WILL own one before I die.

^^^^YES YES YES. R33 GTR all the way. But I would stay off the beaten path, keep it twin turbo but throw the Greddy book at it, either that or buy a friend that speaks Japanese, have him buy me the used car since Japs dont buy used cars and these are EVERYWHERE...over there of course, have him drop it off to TOP SECRET for a build that cost 150 G's have it shipped back and have one of the most badass 1,000 HP cars around.

I like to keep my automotive obsessions to cars that are realistically in my price range, and available in this country...

at least when our cars break, they're cheap to fix, and an oil change isnt $75

True. Well I think Alexr is referring to the service light that comes on in VW's. I think you have to get them reset, but I'm not sure.

You don't change your oil yourself?
From all the VW owners I've talked to, they all say they need a special synthetic that is very expensive. Whether that's a load of crap or not, I don't know, but I've heard it from a few different people, none of which had any relation to each other. Hell my step-sister had a 2000ish Passat, which costed her $80 for an oil change, for the same thing that would have ran me $30 if I was to take it somewhere to be done.

oh. Well I usually run mobile 1 full synthetic in mine unless times are tight like now. So it costs me about 50 just to do it myself. If thats true, that really sucks because I've always wanted one. I just get deterred by the V'Dub crowd, they are a strange bunch. Another car I obsess about is the new hyundai genesis...its kind of like the poor mans G35, which I cant afford.
